is that sleep cannot be forced, it must be invited. The nervous system responds not to
pressure, but to permission. Start by lowering stimulation long before you reach
the pillow. Dim the lights two hours before bed. Cool the room a few degrees.

biology, "It's safe now." Breath is the simplest gate. Inhale for four,
exhale for six. Longer exhalations activate the parasympathetic branch, the body's internal
