Amina's Distraction

The beautiful sound of the Adhan fills the air, calling everyone to prayer.

But little Layla is busy. She thinks she can pray a little bit later.

She decides to watch her favorite cartoons instead, staring at the bright flickering screen.

Soon, the shows feel repetitive. Amina feels a strange cloud of

sadness and boredom. Maybe some sweets will help! She starts eating one lolly after

another. Oh no! Too many treats have given poor Layla a very grumbly stomach ache.

She tries to cheer herself up by playing with her favorite delicate doll.

Snap! The doll breaks, and Layla feels like everything is going wrong today.
