Betrayal in the Night

So, my girlfriend started acting weird. Taking her phone everywhere.

Always smiling at texts. But never at me. I asked who she was texting.

She said, “Just a friend.” Okay… sure. Then one night, she said she was

going to “study with friends.” I got a weird feeling. So I checked her location.

She wasn’t at the library. She was at some guy’s apartment. I drove there.

And yeah… her car was right out front. I called her. She didn’t answer. So I texted,

“How’s studying going?” She replied, “So boring lol.” I just sat there…

outside. Watching the lights in his window. And I realized — I didn’t need proof.
