A Bugatti Lost, A Son Saved

My son just totaled my three million dollar Bugatti, and I'm not even mad.

He called me crying at 2AM saying he wrapped it around a tree on Sunset Boulevard.

When I got there, the front end was completely demolished, carbon fiber everywhere, wheels bent at impossible

angles. Insurance adjuster took one look and said total loss. My wife kept asking

if I was going to yell at him, but here's the thing. The car can be replaced. My son can't.

He walked away with just a scratch on his forehead. That Bugatti had every safety feature

money could buy, and it did its job perfectly. So yeah, I lost three million

dollars last night. But I still have my kid. I'll take that deal every single time.
