A Father's Guilt

My daughter just passed away because of me. Last week I worked a double 16-hour

shift at the hospital. I was completely exhausted and just wanted to sleep. When I got home

that morning, my wife had already left for work. We live in a very small village where

nothing ever happens. The school is an 8-minute walk away, and my kids had walked it hundreds

of times before without any problems. I told my daughter to walk to school because she wasn’t

ready yet, and I thought it would be fine. She said it was okay and told me
