A Nurse's Dilemma: Friend or Patients?

I stole my best friend's patient file and found something that could destroy her career.

I'm a nurse at County General and last week Sarah my closest friend since med school started acting

weird. Shaking hands. Missed IVs. Then I saw her pocket a vial of fentanyl.

I confronted her and she broke down. Chronic pain from a car accident. She's been self

medicating for months. I wanted to help her get treatment quietly but then I discovered something
