I was just a girl with a hopeful heart. Didn't know where love would lead.

We built a life slow then all at once, four little souls dependent on me.

Late nights and laughter, toys on the floor. A home full

of noise and grace. I thought forever meant growing old, side by side

in the same safe place. But time has a way of slippin' through

the fingers you swear are strong. I held on tight as long as I could,

until the day he was gone. And I broke like a window in the first

hard winter storm. Nothin' felt familiar, not the house, the bed, the dawn.
