Street Dreaming and Pedigree

I grew up street dreaming. Shower Posse legendary. All you saw was fast bikes,

not the cemeteries. All you saw was gold chains, not the handcuffs. Young and hungry,

got me dreaming of a fast buck. Hard times had me looking for an answer. Dime sacks,

looking for a Dutch master. Dutch master. I was young but I was not stupid.

My choices kept me alive, not fruitless. Where many of my friends passed,

Flatbush, where many of my checks cashed. I once contemplated buying condos.

I grew up fast, made my own guap though. Yeah. My Pops,

he was never there. My Moms told me, "Go hard, son. Never fear."
