Accept People, Protect Your Peace

Maturity is learning that people cannot give you what they don't have. You cannot expect

loyalty from someone who betrays themselves or peace from someone at war with their own soul.

You cannot drink from an empty cup, so stop trying to fix the broken and stop blaming them

for not being whole. Accept people as they are, not as you wish them to be.

Protect your heart, guard your peace, and remember, some things are better released

than repaired.
