African Dad's Life Lessons

I grew up in Africa, and my dad loved teaching me life lessons.

One day he sat me down and said, This lesson will help you survive

in life. I thought he was gonna talk about school, money,

or responsibility. He said: Always check if the phone is charging before you

start watching videos. Because once the battery dies, so does your happiness.

That is when I realized, African dads do not give advice. They give warnings.
