Allah: The One Beyond All Names

Before there were names… before time learned how to move… before the universe

took its first breath— There was Allah. The word itself comes from al — “the” — and ilah

— “God.” Not a god among many… but the One. The Creator of everything

that exists. The One with absolute authority over the seen and unseen. Long before Islam,

long before revelation, the Arabs already knew the name Allah. And even today, Arab Christians

still use it— because this name was never limited to one people. It belongs to the

One who created all people. Allah is Rabb—the Sustainer. The One who nurtures,

protects, and maintains every atom in existence. He is Ilah—the only One worthy of worship.
