Allegations of Corruption in Zamfara State

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh. My name is Musa Mohammed Kamarawa.

I am the former Senior Special Assistant to Dr. Bello Matawale Maradun when he was the Governor

of Zamfara State, Nigeria. I present to you here my appointment letter,

which clearly states the day I was appointed and the status of my service, which remained uninterrupted

until his tenure as governor expired. I have noticed a viral document circulating across social media

alleging that Mallam Murkana Asada, a known Islamic scholar widely respected for his criticism

of banditry and its sponsors in northwestern Nigeria, was arrested for defamation and libel

by my former boss who currently serves as the Minister of State for Defense in Nigeria.
