she vanished. In 1974, the 17-year-old hitchhiked less than a mile to her

dad's art gallery in Florida and disappeared into a white van. Her camera was found 250 miles away with

photos of a white pickup truck. For 21 years, a man calling himself Johnson tormented

her mother with cryptic calls saying he had Amy. When police finally caught him,

his real name was Henry Johnson Blair, nicknamed Hank. He'd just been transferred to South America

when Amy wrote that diary entry, and he drove a white pickup matching her photos.

He got two years for stalking and died in 2006, taking his secrets to the grave.
