Anger is one of the most misunderstood emotions. Many people think anger is the problem,
when in reality anger is a signal. It shows up when something feels unfair,
unsafe, overwhelming, or blocked. Your body and nervous system are trying
to protect you, even if the reaction doesn’t always help. Anger also comes in levels.
At lower levels, it may feel like irritation or frustration. You’re tense or annoyed,
but still able to think clearly. As intensity increases, your body becomes more activated.
Your heart rate goes up, your muscles tighten, and your thinking narrows.
At the highest levels, anger can feel explosive or out of control, especially when stress,
