Lets talk about “Category 2 of Repro-immunologic Disorder: Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome, or APAS.

The immune system attacks phospholipids – fats in blood cells and vessel linings – causing

cell damage and faster blood clotting. Blocked blood flow to an embryo can lead to miscarriage.

Management depends on lab results and may include blood thinners like heparin or low-dose aspirin,

careful monitoring during pregnancy, and other therapies based on immune testing.
