Artists' Resilience in the Age of AI

We artists are officially at war with AI. This isn't a physical battle or a lawsuit, it is a cold war.

As models gain ground, some defect to become AI hustlers, but those of us who refuse to go

gentle into that good night are feeling the pressure. People are getting fired and technical

skill doesn't impress anyone anymore. But getting resentful is a mistake. When things go bad,

you look at the issue and say good. The best response is to not respond at all.

We must keep doing what we’ve always done. Taking in the world through our senses

and living as intensely as possible. Great art comes from passion and discipline.
