Attending Avoidance Endangering Patients

I kissed my attending in the supply closet and now he's letting patients die to avoid me.

Three days ago we hooked up after a brutal seventy two hour shift. Now he won't even

look at my patient charts. This morning a woman coded because he refused to come

when I called him. Another attending had to run the code. She lived but barely. My co intern saw

everything and threatened to report us both. He could lose his license. I could get kicked

out of the program. But people are literally dying because he's too scared to be in the same room

as me. Do I stay silent and risk more lives or confess and destroy both our careers.
