Awkward Mattress Store Encounter

Tried to speak Chinese to an African guy as a kid This was just embarrassing all around:

My family and I visited a mattress store and already a lot went wrong. A wonderful African

American man was giving us a tour around the mattress store. My dad had a knife

in his belt dressed like a complete cowboy, hat and all. My parents had to

type their initials into a big monitor screen and my mom accidentally typed two additional K's

onto her first initial.. And then at the end I misunderstood him, thought he said

"Wo Bu Ji Dow"- something I'd heard someone say on the show iCarly .. and I shook his

hand back and told him directly and confidently "Wo Bu Ji Dow." My mom just said
