Backyard Lagoon Monsoon

There's a man on my street with a summertime plan. Got a kid-sized

pool and he calls it "the can". Three floaties on. Yeah,

he's safety supreme. Two hours deep and he's raising his prunes. Ring tossin' solo

in the backyard saloon. Neighbours peekin' in, like, "What's he doin'

in there?" He just waves and yells back, "Don't pretend ya don't stare".

He's making waves in his backyard lagoon. Sunburned shoulders, floaties a blue.

Splashes so big, it's the Werrington monsoon. If you ask why he ain't

wearin' trunks, he says, "Drying's quicker just him and his junk".
