Badlands of Mind and Soul

I have wondered in the badlands, of my mind and of my

soul. Now I've reached an understanding where they both bear on parole.

How long has this journey taken to identify the faults of a mind

so badly damaged and a soul without recourse? Where do you go with expiration

of a subject so involved? With a lifetime's agitation of the mind

and of the soul. I must try control of senses, calm my thinking

and the pace of a heart too quickly racing in perceiving loss of face.

But the soul is so much harder, maybe God alone knows how
