Bargaining With the Grim Reaper

I literally traded a random guy's soul to the Grim Reaper to save my own life. It started when

a shadow figure gave me a two-day countdown. I found out from an old librarian

that you can trick death, but you have to be original because he won't fall for

the same thing twice. So, I improvised. I picked up a drunk guy at a bar,

brought him home, and introduced him to my power saw. When the Reaper arrived at 8 AM,

I pointed to the headless body and said, Take his soul instead. The Reaper stared

at me, then rasped, Five years. I told him next time I’ll get him

something way better.
