You can pull in an average of sixty grand a year without a college degree. The job is called
a Boilermaker, and it's definitely not for the faint of heart. These are the pros
who construct, maintain, and repair massive steam boilers, storage tanks,
and even air pollution equipment. You'll be the one reading complex blueprints and using
everything from power tools to welding equipment to bring these huge structures to life or fix them.
Your office could be hundreds of feet off the ground or inside a cramped, tight space.
It's a physically demanding gig, so you need to be okay with lifting heavy parts and
working in all kinds of temperatures. You'll also travel a lot for different worksites,
