Belief vs. Action in Human Rights

The European Court actually had to decide if the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a real god.

While Pastafarianism got rejected, Article 9 of the Human Rights Convention is wilder than you

think. It protects your right to be a Christian or Muslim, sure,

but it also covers vegans, pacifists, and even Druids at Stonehenge.

Here is the catch though. You can believe whatever you want inside your head

with zero interference, but the second you act on it, the government can stop you if it hurts

public safety. You are free to think, but not always free to act.
