Beneath the Yellow Sun

Gold and orange leaves are falling from the sleeping trees. As autumn softly pulls upon a

latent summer breeze. One by one, the petals fade till flowers, there were none.

And branches cast long shadows in the evenings yellow sun. The birds have

flown away into the southern skies, they've gone. And no one seen the

butterflies, they've vanished every one. And here I sit beside the

river, watching waters run. It shimmers like a starlit sky beneath the yellow

sun. As the seasons change, I miss you more each day.
