Benny’s Slow Courage

Benny the turtle had a shell too heavy and legs too short, but he taught an

entire meadow what real courage looks like. While rabbits mocked his tiny steps and

squirrels zipped past without a glance, Benny just kept moving at his own pace.

Then one morning, smoke filled the air and panic spread fast. Ducklings were trapped

across a wobbly log bridge over rushing water, frozen with fear. Every quick animal

hesitated, too scared to cross. But Benny stepped forward. His heart pounded

as he placed one slow foot on that shaking log, then another. The forest went

silent. Every eye locked on the small turtle who refused to rush, refused to panic.
