Biggie Smalls' Unsolved Murder

Biggie Smalls was killed in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997,

in Los Angeles. He was leaving a party when a car pulled up beside his SUV at a red

light. The shooter fired multiple rounds, hitting Biggie four times.

He was rushed to the hospital but died within an hour. The murder happened just six months

after his rival Tupac was killed in a similar shooting. Many believe the two deaths were

connected to the East Coast West Coast hip hop rivalry. Despite numerous investigations and
