Bioluminescent creatures don't just glow randomly. They're speaking in light. Deep sea anglerfish
use their luminous lure to hypnotize prey in complete darkness. Fireflies synchronize their
flashes across entire forests, creating living light shows to find mates.
Even fungi glow green on rotting logs, attracting insects that spread their spores.
Here's the connection that blows my mind. Every one of these organisms evolved
bioluminescence separately. Yet they all chose light as their language in the dark.
Nature independently invented the same solution four different times because... When you're surrounded
by darkness, becoming your own star isn't just beautiful, it's survival.
