Bionic Wheel Gives Tortoise New Speed

This tortoise became a bionic speedster after a terrible accident cost her a leg.

While her owner was away, her leg got jammed under a log, and the injury was

so severe the vet had no choice but to amputate. Recovery was brutal, and she struggled

for ages just trying to move. That is until the vet had a genius idea.

They used a 3D printer to engineer a custom wheel specifically for her. It took some practice,

but now she is rolling around happier than ever, proving that losing a limb doesn't mean

losing your life.
