Blooming Alone

I was an outcast in my own family and friends. Tried to fit

in, so I followed the trends. Was it my looks or the

way I would speak? Every day felt colder. Every smile

so weak. I just wanted to belong, to feel free. Now I look

back with sympathy. It's better on my own. That's the seed

of joy I've grown. I'm the flower in the storm.
