Both Feet

"Come on," she said. "The water's fine." I didn't think there wasn't time.

The way she looked, I didn't trust. But I jumped in,

I felt I must. The cold hit me, it hit me

fast. Then she bit me, then she laughed. I don't care,

I'd follow her anywhere. Water shallow or waters deep, I'll jump right

in with both feet. Time to leave, she winks at me.

There's someplace else we need to be. The ride is long,

she can't wait. I found a place to park, it's so damn late.
