My girlfriend told me to stop acting like a father to her kids after five years of me paying

for everything. So I stopped paying. For five years, I raised twin boys who weren't mine.

Their bio dad, in prison for fraud, never sent a dime. I was there for everything: first

days of kindergarten, teaching them to ride bikes, midnight hospital runs,

paid for their ADHD medication, $400 monthly, their specialized therapy,

$600, elite hockey league, $12,000 per kid annually, private tutoring

because one had dyslexia. Even started college funds, $500 monthly each.

Rachel loved calling me their bonus dad at school events. The boys called me Dad.
