Brazil just opened the world's largest mosquito factory, and its job is to release 190 million
mosquitoes every single week. It sounds like an absolute nightmare, but it's actually
a brilliant plan to fight the spread of Dengue fever. Inside this massive facility,
scientists are breeding millions of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and intentionally infecting them with
a special bacteria called Wolbachia. This bacteria is harmless to the mosquito,
but it acts like a shield, preventing the Dengue virus from developing inside them.
This means they can't transmit the disease to humans. The process is wild. The factory has
thousands of water trays where the larvae grow. Once they become mosquitoes,
