Some nights I sit in the parking lot, too tired to turn the key.

saw the emptiness, never the man who tried his best. I kept whispering

to get better but the echo never came. Your words were cold reminders that

you never felt my pain. I was breaking while you watched, fading under all

that weight. Working myself past human, praying love would make you stay.
