Breathing Through the Storm

Late nights staring at the ceiling, overthinking. Telling myself I'm okay,

but I know I'm sinking. Room full of silence, but my mind's

too loud. Carry heavy thoughts I'd never say out loud. Friends turn ghosts,

love turned distant. I keep moving, but the peace stays missing. Smiles feel fake,

trust feels broken. Every "I'm fine", just another lie spoken. Scars on my

heart that nobody can see. Weights on my chest that won't let me breathe.

I try to sleep, but the nightmares chase me. Try to feel

love, but the doubt replaces. All these demons in my head
