A Broadway legend died not just from cancer, but from the very drugs meant to save
her. Tony-winning actress Elizabeth Franz has passed away at 84.
Her husband confirmed she died from cancer but also had a "severe reaction" to her treatment.
You've definitely seen her face before. Franz was a huge star on Broadway, best known for playing
Linda Loman opposite Brian Dennehy in the 1999 revival of "Death of a Salesman." That highly-regarded
performance is what landed her a Tony Award. She also earned Tony nominations
for her roles in "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and "Morning’s at Seven." But she wasn't just
a stage veteran. She took her talents to the big screen in movies like "The Secret of My Success,"
