Broken Crayons Still Color

Broken crayons still color. Even shattered, they still shine. Even when the

pieces fall, they still leave a mark behind. I choose this pain I carry,

but it's painting something wiser. God whispered through my darkest nights, "You're broken but

you still inspire." After high school, I lost a friend I thought was

doing fine. Smiling in the pictures but he was fighting in his

mind. We all said, "Why he do it?" We ain't understand

the grind. The silent demon sitting heavy on a soul that's losing time.

And back then, I judge it 'cause the pain wasn't mine to feel.
