Skyrim had one of the funniest exploits in gaming history… and it was 100% real.

For years, players discovered that if you put a bucket over an NPC’s head,

their vision cone simply… stopped working. Bethesda confirmed it was an unintended

side effect of how the game handled line-of-sight. So merchants couldn’t see you stealing

everything in their store — because, technically, they couldn’t “see” at all.

People looted entire shops, emptied vaults, even stole the clothes off mannequins…

all while the NPC stood there with a bucket on their face, totally clueless.
