A typical day in the life of an electronics engineer building a mini spider robot looks something
like this. It starts with having the right workstation. I rely on the Dell Precision 3680 Tower,
which handles simulation, design, and firmware development without slowing me down.
At the core of the robot is its microcontroller—the system’s central processor and decision-maker. I design the custom
PCB in Flux, integrating all the components that drive motion, sensing,
and control. Once the electronics are mapped out, I shift to mechanical design and build
the robot’s body in 3D, ensuring that every joint and mount fits with millimeter-level
accuracy. To bring the robot to life, I train its locomotion model in NVIDIA
