Cassandra: A Yuan-Ti Druid's Journey

Check out how I’m making dice for a character named Cassandra. She’s a yuan-ti,

a Circle of Spores druid. As a child, poachers kidnapped her, but a satyr

bought her freedom. He owned a traveling circus, and Cassandra joined the troupe,

performing in choreographed gladiatorial bouts: more dance than brawl. During one match

with her half-orc friend, she suddenly felt strange. Her friend,

the half-orc, started choking and quickly died in agony. The audience panicked

and tried to flee, but many died from Cassandra’s poisonous spores.

Horrified and confused, Cassandra ran into the forest, where druids found her.
