Strings tangle round my fingers. Chasing chords, but they elude. Years pass,

still stuck in basics. Feel like I'm lost in glue. Notes whisper out

of tune. Pics slip away from my grip. Each lesson ends in ruins.

Confidence on a sinking ship. Fly against the window. Buzzing bird never

break through. Years and roots of echo. Dream of strings never true.

Tabs and scales, a foggy maze. Strumming patterns haunt each day. Stuck in circles,

can't escape. Fingers fumble what I play. Whoa-oh-oh-oh. Instructors shake their

heads. Tabs and sheets like cryptic codes. Wish for skill but dread instead.
