Chosen Without the Burden

I've been pacing through the fault lines, fighting for a calm mind.

Cutting through the thoughts that try to drag me into dark signs. Heart climbs every

time the silence hits at sharp times. Wondering if I'm reaching,

reading shadows as the small signs. It's a tightrope, thin hope, working out a

tip between every instinct not to vanish every time I feel

distant. I'm persistent but I'm learning not to live inside the misprints,

rewriting all the meanings that I scribbled in the margins. I'm not chasing

reassurance like a prize I need to win. I just wanna know there's room
