Christ Supreme and Our Reconciler

The Apostle Paul rejoices in the book of Colossians: Jesus Christ existed before anything

else existed, and all creation is therefore held together by Jesus. That means you,

me and everything in between. Jesus Christ is the head of the church,

which is his body. So if you are a believer, that means he is the head of you

too. As the head is the command center of the body, Jesus Christ is

our commander too. Christ is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.

Praise God, that we as believers are alive in Christ. So he is first in everything.

For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything
