I tried this new thing called the Circadian Gut Reset Diet Basically,
you only eat foods that ‘support your melatonin–serotonin cycle’ before noon, because apparently
that’s when your gut-brain axis is the most active. So for a week straight,
I only ate Greek yogurt, bananas, and walnuts in the morning… and nothing
but herbal tea after 3 PM. On day one and two, I actually felt incredible.
My mood shot up, and I swear my focus felt sharper—like my serotonin levels were finally doing
what they’re supposed to. By day four, I was waking up before my alarm,
supposedly a sign that my melatonin receptors were becoming ‘more sensitive.’ But the wildest
