Climate, Weather, and the Atmosphere

Climate and weather are often confused, but they are different. Weather is today;

climate is the long-term average over decades. Earth's atmosphere has layers,

protecting our Lego planet. Mostly nitrogen and oxygen, but tiny trace

gases warm our world. The natural greenhouse effect keeps Earth warm for life.

Too many gases trap excess heat, causing global warming. Evidence shows rising temperatures and CO2

levels globally. Reduce, reuse, recycle: our choices shape

a sustainable future.
