Correcting Everyone’s Love Story

This all blew up last week, and honestly, I didn’t see it coming like this.

Growing up, everyone thought we were the plan. Our families, our friends — even

us, for a while. When we were younger, I asked her if maybe one day we’d be

together. She smiled and said, “Maybe later. I’m not ready yet.” So I waited.

Then she left. She traveled, lived her life, went to college far away.

I went to my own college, figuring that chapter was just… unfinished. Then I got put into

classes with her younger sister. I didn’t expect anything. But we clicked instantly.

Same humor, same pace, same everything. Like two peas in a pod.
