Counterbalancing Energy in Magic

Counter-balancing in Magic An often left out concept in magic is counterbalancing.

Sure you can generate a massive load of subtle fire energy, but what happens afterwards?

Simply clearing it out does not typically work well. The answer is to work with the water

element following the fire session. But it goes beyond this. In planetary meditations,

the hexagram work in ritual magic, you finish banishing the planet you are working with and

then invoke Luna. This does an excellent job of grounding out the energy of the higher spheres.

One exception does exist though...after working with Saturn you need to follow up with Sol and

then Luna. Time consumoing for sure, but who wants to be lying flat on
