Created With Purpose: Ādam’s Beginning

Before the earth had people, before history had a beginning, there was a moment

of quiet creation — a moment filled with meaning. Allah created the first human,

Prophet Ādam, peace be upon him, from clay. From the earth itself. Something simple,

soft, and humble. This reminds us that human strength does not come from

what we’re made of, but from what we’re given. Allah honored Ādam

(AS) by teaching him knowledge — the ability to understand, to name, to learn,
