what that really means for your security. Crypto assets live on the blockchain.
Wallets do not actually store coins. They manage private keys, which cryptographically sign
your transactions to move funds. When you keep crypto on an exchange,
you are using a custodial wallet. The exchange controls the keys. If they are
hacked or frozen, your funds are inaccessible. Hot wallets store keys on internet-connected
devices. They are fast, but exposed. Cold wallets keep keys offline in
a physical device, drastically reducing attack vectors. Never share your private key or
