The year is 1438. The Inca capital of Cusco is surrounded. The Chanka army is closing in.
And the emperor just abandoned his own city. Viracocha, ruler of the Inca,
fled into the mountains with his chosen heir. He left Cusco to burn.
But one prince refused to run. His name was Cusi Yupanqui. He was young.
He was overlooked. And he was about to change history. While his father fled,
Cusi rallied whoever stayed. Farmers. Servants. A handful of soldiers.
They were outnumbered ten to one. The Chankas charged with clubs and spears. It should have been
a massacre. But Cusi didn't just fight. He outsmarted them. He used the terrain.
