Cybersecurity Christmas Chaos

It is Christmas time again, and the office lights are low. The tree is

up, the cookies out, morale is in free fall though. Because while everyone

else is winding down for holiday cheer, security front door tickets triple and

my inbox screams in fear. Oh, Christmas, sweet Christmas,

a season meant for rest. But somehow every year becomes a cyber stress test.

While others sit their eggnog and sing carols soft and bright, we are knee

deep in control assessments that all came in last night. A manager asked

politely if MFA can be paused. Another wants broad access with no security clause.
